What We Publish

For us, it’s all about the sharing of experiences. We publish books of literary non-fiction: travel, sport and artist’s memoirs, stories of personal transformation, humour. We are interested in contemporary literary fiction for adults, middle grade readers or young adults. The only genre fiction we will consider is literary-quality SF, fantasy or historical fiction. We focus on, but are not limited to the work of Canadians. We seek to support emerging voices.

Since we are a new publishing house, we plan to start small, publishing two new titles each season. We hope to build positive relationships with talented writers and an audience for their work. If you think your work falls into our mandate, or you can make an argument for it doing so, please contact us with a query.

We strive for quality, beauty and environmental sensitivity in everything we do. We are working towards being a carbon-neutral publisher.

What We Do Not Publish

We do not publish training manuals, or how-to guides. At this time, we also don’t feel we can consider mass-market fiction, board books, picture books, art books or cookbooks. Please read this information carefully to ensure that your work is suitable for our publishing program.
